As we head into the new year, let’s look back at the long list of wonderful community moments we’ve shared at our school:
- Kinder Meet and Greet
- Curriculum Night
- Volunteer Fair
- Our Most Successful Pledge Drive Ever (which included plenty of shopping and dining events)
- Day of the Dead Craftmaking
- Our Pledge Drive Party who can forget sliming the teachers?
- Harvest Day
- Maker Fair, which included a fantastic cake walk, the giving tree, and loads of holiday fun
- Our annual Scholastic Book Fair - our most successful book fair ever by the way
- And a wonderful mix of 8th grade trip fundraisers including the Car Wash, Family Dance, the Ultimate Ninja event and the Mattress Sale
We can all agree that was a great start to the year, and that’s why we’re reaching out now as we head into the new semester. Plan to expect the same level of fun at Waters School in 2020! Here is a list of events that happen early in the year, and will provide plenty of opportunities for all Waters parents to get involved. Whether you’ve got an hour or two in the evenings, time during the day, or a skill or talent you can share, there is something for everyone. There are a ton of ways to get involved with this very special party, from soliciting auction items, to decorating, running errands, event set-up and take-down, to donating an hour of your time during the actual event.
