The Wildcat Walkathon has officially kicked off! This is our fall fundraiser and a chance for the whole school to participate in some fitness fun. Now through October 14, we ask families to donate or pledge to support our school. Funds raised during the Walkathon support a number of crucial initiatives at Waters, including lunch and recess supervision, Technology, Environmental Science, Arts and essentials classes, and teacher appreciation events. WatersToday also supports the Circle of Help, a parent-run program that aims to alleviate the stress of financial hardship on local students and their family members by offering assistance through community aid. On October 14, the whole school will participate in the Walkathon during the school day. Families are invited to cheer on their Wildcats at each of the corners around the school. For more information about the Walkathon, see the info sheet your child will receive at school today or read the FAQ.
To reach our goal of $80,000, we ask each family to pledge or collect donations totaling $500. We know that many families will not be able to contribute at that level, but others who can ensure that we can maintain the programs that make Waters a great place to learn and grow. Please give whatever amount you are able- every dollar counts! Pledges of any size may be made in one payment or as a recurring monthly or quarterly donation. Donate online, with Zelle or QuickPay to [email protected], or by sending a check payable to WatersToday to school with your child.
