Come Shop Our Community Yard Sale!
Donate new and gently used items, and come shop to support our school
Instead of making another stop to Goodwill, bring your used (like new!) books, clothes, toys, and more to Waters Elementary. We're hosting a community yard sale where your gently used items can find a second life—and help support our school in the process. 

Location: Waters Elementary Lunchroom
Date: Saturday, November 8, 2025
Time: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
​Drop offs will be in the Annex on Friday, November 7,  3:30 - 6:30 PM.
Want to help? We're looking for volunteers to help set up, organize items, run payment stations, and clean up after the event. Click here to sign up!
What types of items are you looking for? 

​We welcome most clean, gently used items in excellent condition that we can resell to the community! Specifically, we’re looking for:
  • Clothing and shoes (children and adult)
  • Accessories like bags or purses
  • Toys, puzzles, and games
  • Books (children and adult)
  • Home goods and kitchenware
Please no furniture, expired items, or broken/damaged goods. Anything that does not sell will be donated.

How will pricing and payment be handled? 

We will be pricing all of your items by category. In general, prices will be low. We want to clean out your storage unit as much as you do! Closer to the event date, we will be sending an email to registered sellers with more details on where and when to drop off your items before the sale.

For shoppers, we’ll accept:
  • Venmo (QR codes will be posted)
  • Cash payments (change available)
What will the money go toward? 

All proceeds from the Waters Yard Sale will benefit Friends of Waters, a parent-led volunteer group supporting our school's educational programs and community spirit.

The school administration, Local Student Council, and Friends of Waters work collaboratively to support our students and community. Friends of Waters raises the funds, transfers those funds to the school’s account, and then the Local Student Council and school administration determine how funds are spent. Funds raised have directly supported:

  • Professional development for teachers
  • Teacher's aide positions
  • Spanish instruction for students
  • Classroom enrichment and community-building events
  • Right at School lunch and recess supervision
  • Teacher appreciation
  • Circle of Help
